Renewal of Immigration Documents<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As of November 9, 2012, foreigners are required to request the Renewal of their immigration document, being able to request that the new document be valid for up to 4 years. <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

By renewing their immigration document, the foreigner maintains his legal stay in Mexico, attending to the necessary requirements for each Condition of Stay.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To date and until there is no official indication that establishes otherwise, it is possible to present ALL immigration procedures that were not presented last year, since the AGREEMENTS of April 1 and May 27, 2020, are still in force, by which The deadlines, terms and activities of the Ministry of the Interior are suspended and extended, which indicate that it corresponds to the National Institute of Migration (INM). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, the terms, terms and expiration dates for foreigners with the status of temporary and \/ or permanent resident, who are in Mexico or abroad, are suspended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each Condition of Stay has a different validity:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n

Temporary resident<\/strong> (Family Unit or Work)<\/strong>.- One, two, three or four years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Permanent resident<\/strong>.- Indefinite, with the exception of foreigners from 3 to 15 years of age, which will be 4 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Temporary Resident or P Residentpermanent<\/strong>.- 1 year in the case of children under three years of age. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Temporary Resident Student or Visitor for Adoption Purposes<\/strong>.- 1 year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
