What is the Exchange in Migration (Procedure)?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This refers to changing the stamp of the Visa in the Passport made by the Consular Office and the Multiple Migratory Form (FMM) that they granted you when entering Mexico for a Temporary or Permanent Resident Card.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When entering Mexico you must, within the next 30 calendar days, carry out the procedure called Exchange before the National Institute of Migration. <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you do not do so within the aforementioned period, your stay in Mexico will be considered irregular.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n

Where can you apply for the Mexican Visa?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At a Mexican Consulate Outside of Mexico:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make the change and the issuance of your immigration documents you will need to meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Original and Copy <\/em>of the Passport<\/strong><\/em><\/li>
  2. Authorized Visa<\/strong><\/em> by the consular office<\/li>
  3. Fill the <\/em>Format<\/a><\/em><\/strong> to Request the Immigration Procedure of Stay<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/li>
  4. Fill in the Form FFM<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/li>
  5. Payment of the Right \/ Residence Tax<\/em><\/strong><\/li>
  6. Present the Basic Format<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/li>

    How to make the Exchange?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n\n\n\n

    The first step<\/strong>, is to comply with the requirements from 1 to 6, keep in mind that you must fill out the online forms, make the payment of the rights and make the copies that are needed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the Consulate of Mexico of the country of your residence, you will be granted in your passport or printed identity document a Visa for Exchange for Immigration Document of Residence<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It is important to take a photocopy of the page where your data is, your photo and the page where the visa was stamped<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Route of Hospitalization<\/strong><\/em>, Air (already included).<\/li>
    2. Internment Point,<\/em><\/strong> Indicate the airport of entry.<\/li>
    3. Date of arrival in Mexico, <\/em><\/strong>arrival flight date.<\/li>
    4. Departure date<\/em><\/strong>, Add the return date of the plane ticket.<\/li>
    5. Airline Name<\/em><\/strong>, For example: Aerom\u00e9xico, Inter jet, etc.<\/li>
    6. Flight number<\/em><\/strong>, This appears on the plane ticket.<\/li>
    7. Personal information<\/em><\/strong>, Name (s), Surname (s), Sex, Date of birth, Country of Nationality and Country of Birth.<\/li>
    8. Identification document<\/em><\/strong>Add the number of your passport or identity document, the Country that issued it, the Date it was Issued and the Expiration Date.<\/li>
    9. Place of residence<\/em><\/strong>, Country of Residence and Address of Residence.<\/li>
    10. Travel Information<\/em><\/strong>, Reason for the trip, the State of the Republic and address where they will reside<\/li>
    11. Email<\/em><\/strong>, Add your email address.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      The Multiple Immigration Form has a maximum validity of 180 calendar days starting from your entry to Mexico and can only be used once to enter the Country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
