Unfortunately, inequality of knowledge and justice has been the factor that has most segregated human beings throughout history, as it largely determines our quality of life.
High-standard law firms have always been accessible only to the most economically privileged and a select few who stand out for their abilities. And why is that?
It has been shown that, under stable conditions, all people should have access to justice and professional advice.
The reason why millions of people around the world cannot access high-quality legal representation is that, throughout history, law firms have employed outdated legal and financial models that result in high operating costs.
An idea to change lives
In 2016, a small team of digital developers from Latin America believed in the vision of uniting law and modern technology to create a platform capable of offering high-quality legal protection, accessible to the greatest number of people in the world, regardless of their income, region, occupation, schedules, culture, religion, politics, or intellectual ability.
Like many people in Latin America, they had experienced the dissatisfaction of obtaining low-quality legal protection and care, so they used the technologies that had been developed at that time, still immature and which tended to become unstable with a high traffic of new prospects.
In the first stage of the project, our founding team was responsible for coding and designing the first version of the website and the legal concepts.

Growing up is about sharing
This project focuses on providing free online legal advice by organizing verified legal concepts, with the aim of sharing them without requiring significant investment. That's why, at Abogados | City Laws, we initially chose the phrase "Growth is sharing" as our slogan.
At first we did not yet have the collaboration of prestigious designers or administrators to organize the information of the verified legal concepts, so we only included details and lacked videos and photos.
The first phase of the project aimed to organize the verified legal concepts into different categories, to facilitate consultation within the platform for a growing sector of visitors worldwide.
A growing global community of contributors
Our desire is to promote free access to justice and legal security for your family and your assets worldwide, and especially in a culture as powerful as the Mexican one.
Since 2016 we have embodied our desires and objectives in the Abogados | City Laws team, and its slogan "Growing is sharing" has attracted the attention of hundreds of volunteers from various professions.
We thank them all for their effort, their donations, and the enormous help they provided to the global community of collaborators by resolving questions raised in the free consultations available on our platform.

In 2016, Abogados | City Laws was created and incorporated in Quintana Roo, Mexico, due to the important need to provide access to justice and high-quality legal security for the assets of the entire population.
Since then, our community of collaborators and our team have continued to grow along with the project: people from different nations, beliefs and cultures from all over the world make up this great team.

To the same extent that we have visually redesigned the details of the verified legal concepts, we have also advanced technologically with our platform.
Thanks to the help and support of our team, we can offer a more comprehensive virtual legal protection service by developing and implementing software built from scratch for our Virtual Law Firm.
We added the Virtual Calendar and the Online Advice Room with the inauguration of our Virtual Law Firm, supported by our data storage and verification platform.
This has allowed us to incorporate the International Consultation System, which empowers the team to enhance its work in any state or city worldwide. Today, we collaborate with lawyers, academics, and institutions around the globe, providing us with verified legal sources.
